If you ask my brother this is the best music store in the city .You can find great deals on old and new music. I have a cousin that lives in Philadelphia and on every trip that he makes to Florida, Black Dog Mastering Studio is the first place that he wants to go, he's an Operas singer and always finds great deals on the music that he is looking for.

This store has a nice collection of indie rock, experimental, dance, and jazz CDs and even 7"" records for those truly obsessed music collectors. The staff sometimes seems a bit aloof, but if you need a recommendation they are very knowledgeable about all those songs you won't hear on local commercial radio.

They are affordable, knowledgeable, and has great customer service. Fast and quick turnaround time and willing to work with you to make sure you are happy with the sound you receive. Very glad to have met him. 5 stars!

Many of Black Dog Mastering Studio customers have come to my company and his masters are consistently excellent and well packaged with all appropriate documentation. Not only that, but when I ask what it was like working with Black Dog Mastering Studio, the positives are unanimous: professional, serious work habits, good attitude, timely work. Black Dog Mastering Studio has mastered the last 3 albums I recorded and I couldn't be happier. They doesn't try to make your mixes sound different, they makes them sound better...way better. They will really listen to you when you explain what you're going after, not like other engineers I've worked with where they're just punching a time card. The mixes have more life, more depth, and sound just as great on my crap computer speakers as they do on my somewhat decent stereo.
