I have to agree with Phil. I've just read an article that Akin wrote about Proving Self-defense in a case he was called in to give his "expert" opinion. The article is full of gross exaggerations and his own personal opinion. He says gangmembers were in the courthouse and making threats. Those are blatant lies. He isn't sticking to the facts of the case but leaning more towards television drama. All the so called precautions were setup by the defense team in order to substantiate their defense.

A Circuit Judge in Saint Louis City, Mo said LOUIS AKIN Didn't tell the truth in a trial where Akin's was hired as an expert for the Defense. The Circuit Judge issued an Court Order that LOUIS AKIN'S Committed perjury as he throw out the Jury verdict and issued Plantiff a new trial.
