AOK Emergency Room is a free standing, full service emergency room open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. AOK Emergency Room is conveniently located in Houston, Texas at the AOK Medical Center. We are capable of handling all accidents and injuries which include urgent to emergency care.

Common symptoms treated in our emergency room include stitching up a minor laceration to stabilizing an active heart attack. AOK Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day with board certified physicians, registered nurses, radiology technicians and allied professionals who are all committed to patient-centered care.

Equipped with six patient rooms, AOK Emergency Room strives to ensure all patients receive the highest level of care. From the moment patients walk through our doors they are immediately treated in a friendly and caring manner.

Patients will not experience the normal hassle and long wait times associated with hospital based emergency rooms. In fact, AOK Emergency Room has a �no wait� policy for all patients, which means immediately after you check in with our receptionist, a nurse will escort you to your patient room.

They are equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac monitors and are all overseen by a centralized nursing station to ensure constant surveillance of your health care status. AOK Emergency Room also has a separate OBGYN room to further accommodate patients. Our imaging services include a digital X-Ray, CAT scan and ultrasound.
